What Type of Fillers Do We Offer?
RHA Collection Injectables are the newest technology available in injectable fillers, only available at select practices with reputations for exceptional results. Dr. Partington is proud to offer this advanced dermal filler option to patients as an early adopter of RHA Flawless in Motion Collection Fillers.
What is RHA?
RHA stands for “resilient hyaluronic acid.” RHA Collection injectables are composed of an advanced formula of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body to enhance moisture, volume, and structure. RHA filler is the least processed type of hyaluronic acid available on the market today and is intentionally designed to closely mimic the natural hyaluronic acid in the skin. This new formula is designed to move smoothly as you make facial expressions, offering a seamless and natural look. It’s best for dynamic areas of the face, such as the lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or cheeks.
Filler Injection Procedure:
Filler injections are complete in a simple, quick procedure. This can often be completed immediately after your consultation with Dr. Partington or Christel RN. In some cases, the area will be numbed prior to injection, but this is not always necessary. First, the area is thoroughly cleansed and sterilized. Then, the filler is injected into the treatment area using the thinnest possible needles to ensure patients remain comfortable throughout the procedure. This can be completed in as little as 15-30 minutes. The number of injections and the amount of product necessary varies depending on your needs and aesthetic goals.
Before & Afters
Recovery after Filler Injections
There is no downtime required after Filler Injections. It’s typical for patients to have some slight swelling or redness at the injection site after their procedure, which quickly dissipates. Dr. Partington or Christel RN may advise you to avoid exercise or other strenuous activity for about 24 hours after your procedure to avoid bruising. It’s also best to avoid sun exposure as much as possible.
Over time, the hyaluronic acid is naturally metabolized by the body. If they choose, patients may receive maintenance injections to keep up their results.
